Standing in GraceI am a third generation Christian in the local church. Today I am full of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord Jesus for placing me--in His universal Body; a member of the local churches under the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. This ministry has opened up so much truth and spiritual growth and enjoyment for me. I can testify that every conference I have attended and every publication I have read left me loving and desiring to seek Him even more. The Lord Himself is such a rich and bountiful source, however, few believers are able to fully apprehend His vastness, much less to minister and dispense His riches to others. By the Lord's mercy and grace, Watchman Nee and Witness Lee were able to open the Word of God and unveil God's economy so that all believers may come to know Him and to understand our Creator's desire for man. I thank the Lord that He used this ministry to reach me, to open my being to Him, and to cause me to receive Him as my Savior, my supply, my moment by moment grace, my salvation to the uttermost, my everything. The meetings in the local churches are genuine feasts--every meeting is a supply, a joining, a building among the members of His Body. God desires a universal Body, composed of all His believers, as His corporate bride. May we all, as members of His Body, exercise our spirits to contact Him, to stay open to Him, to cooperate with Him, in fellowship, in prayer, in petition, in intercession until we (His universal Body, His corporate bride, the church) bring Him back. Today, I am standing in grace (There really is no better place!). It is Christ who died and who rose, who ascended and who became the life giving Spirit to indwell me, to redeem me, to justify and sanctify me before God. By His accomplishments, I was saved and am still being saved by being filled with His life that He, in me, would be expressed. I am standing before God, in grace, in Christ, enjoying God as my full supply, to be one with the Body, the church, and one with the Head, Christ. Rose I. Wu | Back to List |
